Quality depends entirely on the chef assigned. Ask for the head chef or a specialist. Some resorts send a junior cook for in-villa service.

Dining within the island's interior vegetation. Lit pathways through tropical plants lead to a clearing with a table. Sounds of the island at night: birds, wind through palms, waves in the distance.

Mosquitoes are the main risk. Resorts usually set up coils and sprays, but it is still a jungle. Beautiful if conditions cooperate.

Rain cancels outdoor screenings. Food quality is casual, not fine dining. More about the experience than the food itself.
