Maldives Travel Curation

IM Maldives is a Maldives travel agency — curating tailored holidays, honeymoons, weddings, and group stays across more than 100 Maldives resorts, with long-standing resort partnerships and end-to-end coordination.

A Decade of Maldives Travel

For more than ten years, IM Maldives has curated tailored holidays across the Maldives — pairing each traveller with the right resort, the right villa, the right meal plan, and the right experience. Not a package from a catalogue.

We work across more than 100 Maldives resorts, with long-standing partnerships at the country's leading properties. Beyond resort coordination, IM Maldives operates IM Studio — our in-house photography and film team — and works with a curated network of MICE partners and vendors for corporate retreats, weddings, and large groups.

IM Maldives has grown from a Malé-based specialist into a full-service Maldives travel agency working with clients across the UK, India, US, Australia, and the Middle East. The approach hasn't changed: every trip is built around the specific traveller, not the other way around.

The IM Approach

What Sets IM Apart

01

Deep Curation Expertise

Every resort in our portfolio evaluated in person — water clarity, food quality, service standards, transfer reliability. We don't read brochures; we audit properties. Recommendations are matched to specific travellers, not segments.

02

Long-Standing Resort Partnerships

Direct relationships with over 100 Maldives resorts, built over a decade. Better rates, value-added inclusions, faster resolution when plans change, and access to options that aren't always publicly listed.

03

In-House IM Studio

Our own photography and film team — not outsourced. Resort campaigns, wedding coverage, honeymoon shoots, brand content. A creative team that's part of your trip from day one, with full editorial control.

04

MICE Partners & Vendors

For groups, corporate retreats, incentive travel, and weddings — a curated network of trusted MICE vendors, suppliers, and on-island operators built over the years. Single point of contact for multi-vendor coordination.

Common Questions

Maldives Travel FAQ

How much does a Maldives holiday cost?
Maldives holidays typically range from around $1,150 per person for a value resort stay (half-board, speedboat transfer) to $10,000+ per person for ultra-luxury overwater villas at top-tier resorts. Mid-range overwater villa stays at 4-star resorts usually fall between $4,000–$8,000 per person for 5–7 nights. Final cost depends on resort tier, villa type, meal plan, transfer method, and time of year.
When is the best time to visit the Maldives?
The dry season runs November to April with clear skies, calm seas, and reliable sunshine — ideal for honeymoons, weddings, and underwater experiences. January to March is peak season with the highest rates and resort occupancy. May to October is the wet season with brief afternoon showers, significantly lower rates, and excellent marine life (manta and whale shark season).
How far in advance should I book a Maldives holiday?
Book 3–6 months ahead for the best resort and villa choice, especially for peak season (December–April). Honeymoon and wedding bookings typically run 6–12 months ahead. Last-minute bookings are possible 2–4 weeks out, particularly during shoulder seasons, but options narrow quickly.
Can we have a wedding in the Maldives?
Legal civil marriages in the Maldives are available only to Maldivian nationals. International couples have symbolic and blessing ceremonies — widely offered at Maldives resorts on beaches, sandbanks, overwater pavilions, and in tropical gardens. Most couples register legally at home before or after travelling.
What's included in an IM Maldives package?
Every IM Maldives package includes resort accommodation, airport transfers (speedboat, seaplane, or domestic flight), the chosen meal plan, and full trip coordination with a single point of contact. Honeymoon, wedding, and family inclusions are added where relevant. Excursions, photography sessions, and split-stay logistics can be added to any package.
Is the Maldives halal-friendly?
The Maldives is 100% Muslim and many resorts cater specifically for halal-conscious travellers — halal-certified kitchens, prayer facilities, Ramadan accommodations, and alcohol-free zones. We confirm halal standards directly with each resort before booking.
What's the difference between all-inclusive and half-board?
Half-board includes breakfast and dinner only. All-inclusive includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, soft drinks, and most alcoholic drinks (with resort-specific exclusions). Whether all-inclusive is worth the upgrade depends on your drinking and dining habits — we run the math for your specific resort before recommending.
How do airport transfers work in the Maldives?
Every Maldives resort booking includes transfers from Velana International Airport (MLE) to the resort. Speedboat transfers run for resorts within 90 minutes of the airport ($30–$200 per person). Seaplane transfers (daylight hours only, $400–$700 per person) reach more distant atolls. A few resorts use domestic flight + speedboat combinations.

Travel Planning

"I was looking for some advice and deals for my trip to the Maldives and I was so pleased with the service I received. I was greeted by an approachable and friendly person who happened to be the director of the company. He knew what he was talking about and managed to get me some great prices on the things I wanted to do. He helped us as we changed our plans many times and steered us toward the most time and cost efficient route. Everyone from their staff is so knowledgeable, friendly and a pleasure to speak with. Thank you for making my trip the best — I will be back for sure!"

"What a wonderful way to remember our honeymoon. The photography package we opted for at Cocoon Maldives was second to none. The photos are amazing — both camera and drone — and the video just tops it off and really brings our memories to life. Thank you for making the experience so fun."
