Start on Dharavandhoo with its local-island atmosphere and Hanifaru Bay access, staying at Dimora Blu, one of the island's newest and most design-led beachfront guesthouses. Then continue by speedboat to a private island resort for three nights in a Beach Bungalow on half board. It is designed specifically for travellers visiting the Maldives during Baa Atoll manta season.

When is Hanifaru Bay manta season? +

Roughly May to November, when the southwest monsoon funnels plankton into Hanifaru Bay in Baa Atoll. October falls in prime season, which is why this offer is timed for it.

Is a manta sighting guaranteed? +

No. Mantas are wild animals and sightings depend on weather, sea conditions, plankton, and Hanifaru Bay Marine Protected Area regulations. Dharavandhoo is one of the best-positioned islands for reaching the bay in season, but no operator can guarantee an encounter.

What is Dimora Blu like? +

Dimora Blu is one of Dharavandhoo's newest beachfront stays: a design-conscious guesthouse with contemporary rooms right by the sand, offering a more elevated stay than the island's older guesthouses while keeping the authentic local-island experience and easy Hanifaru Bay access.

What does the $1,799 price include? +
