Embarking on an unforgettable journey to the enchanting Furaveri Maldives, a breathtaking resort situated a short 45-minute seaplane ride away, we were instantly captivated by the sheer beauty that unfolded before our eyes.

From the moment we stepped onto the seaplane to the wistful return to the airport, our hearts overflowed with wonder, courtesy of the resort’s mesmerising scenery and unparalleled charm.

On every step of the way, we were greeted with top-notch hospitality, which started from the Furvaeri lounge at Velana International Airport. We were greeted by the staff who helped us with a speedy check-in process and took us to the Noovilu seaplane lounge on the delegated Furaveri cab. From here, we got on the seaplane and watched the beautiful islands of the Maldives pass by, and before we knew it, we were greeted by the beautiful Furaveri Maldives.

Up on our arrival, we received cold towels and fresh Maldivian coconuts, a much-needed treat in the hot Maldivian weather! Following our check-in process at the resort, we were off to our beautiful Beach Pool Villa.

This is when we discovered one of the best features of the resort; the buggy ride system. Just like how you’d wait for the next bus at a bus stop, Furaveri had buggy stops! This turned out to be something we really appreciated during the trip. Not only did it allow us to interact with other guests and enjoy the ride, but you never had to wait so long to get a ride!

Nestled amidst the pristine beauty of Furaveri Maldives, the Beach Pool Villa surpassed all expectations, immersing us in a world of exquisite luxury and space, tailor-made for friends or even a romantic retreat. Step inside, and we were greeted by an expansive open-concept design, gracefully inviting in the sun’s warm embrace through the wispy, delicate white curtains.

Spacious beyond measure, the Villa delighted us with not one, but two of everything, from the elegantly designed closets to the refreshing showers and stylish bathroom sinks. Speaking of which, the bathroom was an absolute marvel, a symphony of nature and sophistication. Bathed in natural light, courtesy of the open-concept layout, the bathroom boasted a stunning bathtub and an alluring open shower space, creating a sanctuary of relaxation and indulgence.

And let us not forget the desserts – they were an absolute must-try, making our dining experiences at Furaveri truly unforgettable. During our stay, we were fortunate to witness the mesmerizing fire show hosted by the resort, which proved to be just one of the many incredible entertainments they offer to their guests. The remarkable skills of the performer had us utterly captivated, keeping us on the edge of our seats throughout the entire show!
