December delivers dry-season conditions in full. Rainfall drops to around 8 days, sunshine climbs back to 8.5 hours/day, seas are calm, and visibility for snorkelling exceeds 25 metres. The combination of weather and festive resort programming makes this one of the most demanded months globally.
Christmas and New Year prices peak from December 22nd through January 5th: typically 60–100% higher than shoulder season. Multi-night minimums (7–10 nights) are common during the holiday period. Resort galas, beach dinners, and themed New Year programmes book out months ahead.
