What to Expect
February is the driest month in the Maldives, averaging just 4 rain days for the entire month. Sea conditions are exceptional. This is the month most underwater photographers and serious divers choose, with visibility consistently at 25–30 metres.
Peak season rates continue. Chinese New Year crowds (varies by year) push resort occupancy near capacity. Photography sessions, romantic dinners, and excursions should be booked in advance to avoid waitlists. Most resorts have their full team and creative direction running at peak capacity this month.
